Wildlife & Nature:
I have been fortunate with the amount of time I have been able to spend touring different Nature Reserves and National Parks all over Africa.  The photos included in this section are from Parks in Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, and Zambia .  Some of my best experiences have been in the South Luangwa National Park in Zambia and in Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya.  One of my life long dreams has been to spend a full year on Safari.  The only problem would be trying to go back to the real world after a year of traveling through Africa .   

Construction:
As a Civil Engineer (EIT at the moment) I spend a lot of time on construction sites.  I have spent time working on a wide variety of jobs including:

• Road works,
  
• Bridge construction,
  
• And industrial job sites.  

Most recently I have been working on the Seaspan Shipyard Modernization Project in North Vancouver where the largest gantry crane in Canada was recently installed.

Travel:
I have spent a large part of my life traveling, so much so that it is now in my blood.  My parents believed that family trips were the best Christmas present.  We went on some pretty incredible trips: week long scuba diving expeditions in the red sea, train trips through the Sahara Desert, road trips through Central Africa, and a memorable trip to Cairo Egypt to see the pyramids.  I have kept this love of travel and more recently have traveled to Paris, Zanzibar, Greece, and all over North America to places like PEI, Chicago, and Seattle.  One day I hope to travel through South America, South East Asia, and the rest of North America.  

Assignments:
A fellow photographer and myself have challenged each other to complete weekly photography assignments.  The goal of each assignment is to improve our photography through:

1. Focused practice on different aspects of photography,
2. Constructive peer reviews,
3. And, completing tasks on a deadline.

Some examples of the assignments completed to date are Movement, Light, and Symmetry.
